We are currently accepting applications for hiring two full time Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants (COTA) to service our Lakeland, Bartow and/or Winter Haven Campuses. All resumes/applications will be reviewed and successful candidates will be contacted for interviews in early July. Therapist hours are 8:30-3:30 Monday through Friday. The Achievement Academy follows the Polk County school calendar including all major holidays and summers off. Candidates must hold current Florida Licensure and pediatric experience is preferred. COTA responsibilities include; following evaluation and plan of care developed by the Occupational Therapist, providing 1:1 individual therapy sessions for children with varying exceptionalities addressing concerns in fine motor, feeding, and sensory development, and assisting with completion of all necessary paperwork (data collection, attendance, quarterly progress reports, etc.). Fingerprinting, background clearance and drug screening is required before hiring. Salary and benefits competitive with the school district.
